On Sunday 30 July the Parkes Harness Racing Owners and Trainers Association (PHROT) held their annual trials draw and morning tea. During the 2016/2017 season, 33 trainers and drivers from Parkes, Forbes, Peak Hill, Eugowra, and Grenfell won a voucher kindly donated by Parkes Farm Centre.
These winners went into a final draw for a set of racing hopples.
Terry Hush from Forbes was the lucky winner.
