Parkes Harness Racing Club would like to announce that the Parkes Harness Stallion Tender 2016 is now officially open. The club decided to have a silent auction, and to cater for all, the club has different ways to place your bid.
BELOW are some FAQs that maybe able to help you on the process. If you need clarification, please do not hesitate to contact us. Some of your concerns and questions may not be answered on the FAQs below, so please contact us. We may update the FAQ as we go along.
WHO/WHAT are the available Stallions?
There are 5 Stallions to choose from this Parkes Harness Stallion Tender 2016 namely,
(1) "For A Reason" from Yirribee Pacing Studs / Luke and Belinda McCarthy,
(2) "Grinfromeartoear" from Alabar Farms,
(3) "Modern Art" from Empire Stallions",
(4) "Maffioso" from Clarinda Park Horses, and
(5) "Major Bronski" from Morley Park Pacing Stud.
CAN I place a bid on multiple Stallions?
Yes. You can!
CAN I place a bid on the same Stallion multiple times?
Yes. You can! If you are not the highest bidder, you can always place a higher bid, until the club informs you that you are the highest bidder for that particular Stallion.
CAN I know who is the highest bidder?
No.
As this is a silent auction, part of the process is the anonymity of the bidder.
CAN I know what is the highest bid?
No.
The club decided not to publish the amount of the highest bidder to protect the stallion and the sponsors' interest.
CAN I know whether or not I am the highest bidder?
Yes.
Once you tell us that you want to bid, we would be assigning an "alias" to you. We would then inform you of your alias. We may call you, send SMS message, or send email to notify you of your assigned "ALIAS"

There is a field called "HIGHEST BIDDER" in each Scoreboard. Whoever is the highest bidder, we would be putting his/her assigned "ALIAS".
WHEN is the last day i could place my bid?
The bidding is open until September 19, 2016, 12nn AEST.
HOW can i place my bid for the stallions?
Now we are talking...
There are 5 ways to send your bid.
I. You can fill out the Tender Form, and submit it back to Parkes Harness Racing Club Secretary Tony Dumesny. Tender Forms are available online in our website, and it will be distributed during Parkes Harness Meetings on August 7, and August 14.

You can download it, and print it, and send it to Parkes Harness Racing Club Secretary.
II. You can call the PHRC Secretary, and tell him who you want to bid, and how much you want to bid. You can contact PHRC Secretary via 0427415098.
III. You can send SMS message to PHRC Secretary, and tell him who you want to bid, and how much you want to bid. You can contact PHRC Secretary via 0427415098.

V. You can fill out forms via our website. Visit our website, via www.parkesharness.org.au.
HOVER the mouse over EVENTS, located at the upper right portion of the page.
Then click on "STALLION TENDER 2016".
Scroll down and select which Stallion you want to place a bid on
Then click on BID NOW.
Fill out the form found in the page. Enter name, email, subject, phone, and message. In Subject, you can enter the NAME of the horse.
In Message, please do enter the AMOUNT of the bid.
Then click on "CLICK HERE".
We would be able to receive the filled out form. We will get in touch with the bidder as soon as possible.
